file size matter?

Default file size matter?

senthur is on a distinguished road
iam having 2.2 gb of iges file. it is not opening in Ansa. is there any size limit in ansa for opening in Ansa.

This is indeed a large file, but still ANSA should cope with it very well.

I suggest when you open the file you set in

(for v15)
Settings>Translators>Topology>Perform ANSA topology to OFF

(for v16)
Settings>Translators>Neutral Files>Topology>Perform ANSA topology to OFF

so that ANSA reads the file as is and does not try to apply topology.
This should be faster also.
