hey guys,

I am pretty confused about both these applications (I mean Bladegen and Blademodeler). Are both of these used for modelling blades? I am trying to obtain 3d models for some blades I have designed.

I have information like chord, axial chord, span, stagger, alpha, beta, etc at 3 locations (thats root, mean and tip). But, I am not sure how to proceed with the blade modelling, all I need is the coordinates for root and tip airfoil (or may be mean as well).

Is there any way, I can get some tutorials on using bladegen or blademodeler to obtain blade profile by provide the above said parameters (thats chord, axial chord, span, stagger, alpha, beta, etc).

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Do that in turbogrid or design modeller and then use blade editor/blade modeller tool

you need hub and shroud surface. After that you need to do some operation, then you will be able to define flow path. You just need few more steps ...

I'd made hub, shroud, inlet, and exit lines after that defined it in flow path but
Error massage appears

Hi guys! I am new in the blade modeler and try to design a horizontal axis wind/hydro turbine. I think, designing the blade in blade modeler will be better than BladeGen. I need some documentation about blademodeler. My e-mail is: abdmuratoglu@gmail.com

Regards
