[ICEM] Delete elements from unstructured mesh

Hi,
I have created a mesh along 2D cascade of airfoils using ICEM CFD. I found some elements near trailing edges that were creating some problem. I deleted few elements and then i imported that mesh to CFX. The surface parts are vanished from the parts list. Earlier it was showing when i didn't deleted elements.
Does this have anything to do with deleting few elements arbitrarily and do i need to do anything after deleting elements and before exporting. Kindly suggest some insight.

You can't delete elements manually and leave it like that. That will be a problem.

You should try and fix the trailing edge problems because a quality mesh there defines a quality solution for your simulation
