Hi,

According to specified parts in the following figure, mesh has not good quality. why?

Please check Gambit file, Gambit file is as follows:

http://www.4shared.com/zip/rDI--ohyba/BBBB.html

Thanks for allocating your time.

Best.

how did you check your grid?
why are you writing that those areas gives you quality issue?

Hi,

I didn't check mesh but when I see these areas in Gambit, there are higher skewness than to other areas. Therefore, I want to create better mesh.

I just want to create better mesh than to above mesh(first post) in these areas, because other side of blade had good quality mesh and these two side are symmetry(use of Reflect in Gambit). Please see the following figure:

Is it possible that mesh became better in these areas?

Thanks.

Best.

there is a tool for checking the mesh quality: https://www.sharcnet.ca/Software/Gam....htm#gc_exmesh
If I set the skewsize criterion at 0.8 , then your worst quality cells are here:

Nevertheless I would run on this grid, because worst skewsize is 0.9, which should be acceptable.
You can still improve your mesh if you are not satisfied with your results

Really thanks max,

The mentioned two side(for example, mesh of volumes 40 and 109) should be same in term of mesh because of geometric symmetry, but these are not same. why?

I tried to again mesh these volumes, but it is not corrected. In fact, these volumes will not be same in term of mesh!!! why?

I am grateful that guide me more about this case.

Thanks.

Best.

if you want exactly the same mesh on both volumes, then you need to link them

According to your statement, I performed it. But these are not the same.

I think that geometry of volume 40 is not good.

However, really thanks.

you need to delete all the meshes first
then link also the surfaces
PS: Check your BL (it surrounds not completely your foil)
