I go to the smooth or mesh quality and run my checků This creates a histogram in the bottom right corner. You can adjust the range of the histogram if it is too hard to see the lowest columns. Left click on columns to display the mesh from each column on the screen (track lightly as this may be memory/display intensive). Right click on the histogram to create a subset of the elements in the highlighted

Faceted geometry is made up of lots of little triangles. This data can come from scanners or some low end geometry creation tools. These usually give a rough interpretation of the surface. Common types include, STL, VRML and various mesh types which can be used as geometry. Some CAD formats, such as DXF,

How to slove "temperature limited to 1.0000e+00001 in cells.."

Posted November 22, 2012 at 12:11 by diamondx

This might happen early in your solution, but it should go away as you iterate. What happens is that FLUENT calculates some value that is below 10 K, which is (probably) unreasonable. To keep the simulation from diverging, it discards the value it calculated and uses 10 K insead.

If the warning does not go away as you iterate, try to find where the offeding cell is. You can do this by going to the adapt by iso-value menu and selecting adapt by temperature. Pick a range of temperatures...

All Quad

Posted November 20, 2012 at 17:05 by diamondx

So if you want to use swept, change the "free face mesh type" to "all quad". Then the sweep will turn those quads into all hexa...

Otherwise, perhaps you should be looking into the regular (not swept) blocking.
