Now, I simulated the 2D reactor. I used CFX mesh with extrusion.Time step that was used is about 1e-6. The turbulent model k-e.I tried to use fine mesh and small of time step but the simulation still not converge. What should I do ?

Thank you very much for your suggestion.

I did following the suggestion but the simulation did not converge. I reduced the blend factor that was used below 0.75. I try to vary the timestepping around 1e-5 - 1e-7.

The simulation was set in isothermal and it was simulated with two phases(gas-solid). Air 25 C and solid particles represent gas and solid phases, respectively. Moreover, Kinetic theory was added in the model.

I want to know more about the limit of using kinetic theory in CFX.

Thank very much.
