Hi everyone,
I must release some memory because each simulation takes a lot of space on my computer, but which are the files that i can delete? I guess they are in '_working' folder and not in '_files' folder... I want save the initial files, in order to be able to open again the project. Please, help me! Ema |

if youre using windows and you have administrator or power user rights download ccleaner and run it. its free but you DONT need to install the google toolbar thingy. if you dont ask the IT to come round and work for their salary for a change
delete *.bak and check your working temp directory again on windows cfx 12 temp directory by default is C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Temp\2 you can change this to lets say drive:\v12tempfiles to have a better view on whats going on zip/7zip/rar (well basicaly compress) your old simulations

I don't know if it's your case, but I used to run very long transient simulations which created big .out files.
As these are text files, they can be compressed (zip, rar, etc) to ratios above 90%
