Hi guys,

Quick question on setting the excitation current on an ansys Maxwell electromagnetics analysis:

I have a coil which has 1500 turns with 15 amps flowing through it. Do I set the excitation current as 22500 amps in the current excitation or will I create a single coil terminal with 1500 conductors and specify the inital current as 15A when specifying a winding to the coil terminal.

Aplogies if im missing something obvious here, first time using Maxwell.

Thanks in advance,

Paul
