I'm trying to run a job with a geometry that consists basically of a box with a cylinder inside of it (cylinder is used to define a dynamic mesh zone). The box and cylinder form one part, but two bodies. When I try to run the job I get the following error:

WARNING: Unassigned interface zone detected for interface 3

My question is, "How do I find where 'interface 3' is?" Since I formed one part with the two bodies, the mesh is identical on the surfaces of the cylinder and box, so I never set any interfaces.

that's warning comes up as you open FLUENT if you define interface named selection. It means you should not forget to make '' mesh_interface(s) in FLUENT as well.

I had originally named one of my selections "GearboxInterface" and fluent automatically set this selection as an interfaces boundary condition. I went back to the Meshing Editor and removed "Interface" from the name of this selection.

I currently do not have any interfaces in the Meshing Editor or Fluent.

No. I'm restarting the file from scratch without ever naming any of the selections "...Interface". I'll let you know if this works.

Thank you.
