Hi everyone

I am trying to simulate the single phase heat transfer for flow through the the two parallel flat plates. The Nusselt which I am getting is not matching with the theoretical (Nu=8.23) for constant heat flux condition. Does any one on forum carried out such simulation in fluent or using other software.

Expect some positive reply from forum.

I wonder if you eventually found a solution to your problem, and if so, I'm curious what the answer was. Would you care to share?

Hi,
most of the time the "Error" is the definition of the bulk temperature.
Read this thread, in particular the last posts.
