Hi. I can't finish my project and I keep getting errors. I think its because I don't use the proper model. Assume there are two rotating zones which fluid exits the 1st zone and has to enter the 2nd one (in a pump which the first zone consists the hub and the 2nd zone is between the blades). Its like pressure outlet of the 1st one is the pressure inlet of the 2nd one but I haven't got the values and they may change over time (may be!). Therefore I searched the net and found the following models: Mixing plane and Sliding mesh.
I don't know which model to use or are they the right ones for my problem? I can't figure it out! Help me out!, please! (I must finish it on time ) |

You must look at FLuent tutorial about multiple frame of reference. It has clues and probably answers to your questions. All the best!!

Vasava thank you very much for your reply. Actually I have used the MRF in each zone. Presume one has a pressure outlet which needs to be connected to a pressure inlet right next to it but doesn't know about the values of pressure. The problem is if not via pressure outlet-inlet then how to connect and relate these zones together?
