I new to ICEM and FLUENT;
I used ICEM to generate a geometry and mesh.
I have worked on everything and saved it based on manuals I am using as a guide. The problem is on opening the mesh in FLUENT, I found out that the Boundary Conditions I created is cannot be displayed in FLUENT.
Can someone kindly explain how this works?
Also, I am having the problem of Null Domain Pointer error except I override an existing work in fluent.msh

try to remesh and define the bundary conditions in separate directory and check ur mesh quality, if negative volume exist try to clear it.

Hi Ifyi,
When you created the mesh in ICEM, I presume you split the geometry into parts before meshing?
Then you assigned the boundary conditions to these parts through: Output > Boundary Conditions?

On my first attempt I had a similar problem to yourself as I split the geometry into parts post meshing which doesn't work for some reason. By splitting prior to meshing, my problem was solved.

Hope this helps
Nick
