Hi all

I'm a very new user of Ansys. I was trying to create new material in Fluent (basically Borosilicate glass and silicone oil). How can I do this?

Also if I want to simulate a process that a fluid is introduced to a pipe where the pipe is filled with a static fluid already (different fluid from the one being injected),How can I do this?

Thanks a lot for any suggestions.

For new materials just go to the materials screen in GUI. Edit the properties and change the name of the material.

You'll need to do a multiphase simulation for multiple fluids.

Thanks Lucky Tran

I managed to turn Multiphase on and have set two phases as I want. However I'm still struggling to put the static liquid in the pipe, any suggestions please?

I think what you are trying to do is patch the volume with a fluid already present inside it,e.g air inside a tank and then water is poured into the tank to take up the space?

If this is what you mean, you need to patch the volume.
