Hello!
I am wondering if it is possible to use a dynamic overset mesh in fluent? If so, where can I find information about this, tutorials or manuals or something? I've been looking but so far I haven't had any luck. Best regards! |

Unfortunately it doesn't develop yet for fluent. It is just available in Star CCM+.

Thanks for your answer!
As far as i understood, what doesnt work with an overset mesh is dynamic remeshing and layering. Setting a stiffness to the mesh and allow it to morph should still work, right? I might have missunderstood this aswell however! I would like to use it for a fluid structure interaction for a wing, with small movement on the wings trailing edge. So no remeshing will be necessary. The overset mesh is used so that remesheing won't be necessary for every angle of attack I want to investigate. Best regards |
