about temperature rising in fluent5.4.8

Hi,
1. I am applying fluent to simulate combustion of gas(C4H6+O2).I choose couple solver, finate-rate model.I define Cp of mixture as const (value 5500). I get a strange effect of the temperature rise in the core of the flame all the way up to maximum value specified in the Solution Limits panel (whichever value is entered). And the temperature in the fluid zone out of flame zone is very very low(limited to 1K).Would you like to tell me how to solve it?Thank you. 2. I want to define Cp as function of temperature.If you know Cp(T)of C4H6,Would you like to tell me? Thank you. Any answner will be welcome.Thank you. Devy 2001.3.23 |

Hi, Four points(personal ideas) 1. are you sure that cp of c4h6 is 5500? 2. define correct conductivity coefficient, mass diffusion coefficient and so on for mixture; 3. better initial temperature value; 4 less ignition area. Harry.
