Hi, I am modelling chemical reaction of coal with air in coal dumps. Presently i am using a 2D model for the coal dump. I am required to model chemical reaction in a porous media representing the coal dump. I have to simulate the species generation and temperature rise with time. Could you suggest a way to approach to solve this problem using FLUENT6.0 Regards, Ravi

I my ideal Fluent 6.0 can't solve Multiphase + Multispecies process. By away I think u can simulate in only Multispecies by add source term of O2 used CO+CO2 produced and energy produced in porous zone. Use UDF to defind them.
