I am thinking to build a model coupling 1D flow and 3D heat transfer. Could anyone tell me how to disable the calculation of v w momentum eqn ?

thanks in advance

Go to

Solve->Control->Solution

in this panel

on left side check out 'flow' from the list, it will not calculate momentum equations

Thanks for your reply. I may not make my question clear, actually, I want to solve N-S in 1D (instead of 3D ) and together with a 3D heat transfer, so I can't disable 'flow'. COuld anyone tell me how to 'tell' Fluent3D to solve the momentum only in 1D ?
