I hope I understand your question. Below is an example from a journal file in which I've created several different areas inside my 2D face, then applied values for pressure, k, and omega to the whole face and different velocities for the different areas.

/adapt/mark-boundary-cells (inlet) 40 /adapt/mark-boundary-cells (otherwall) 40 /adapt/mark-boundary-cells (outlet) 40 /adapt/mark-boundary-cells (symmetricl) 40 /adapt/mark-boundary-cells (symmetricr) 40 /adapt/mark-boundary-cells (target) 40 /adapt/combine-registers 0 1 2 3 4 5 () /solve/patch () combination-r6 () pressure 20 /solve/patch () combination-r6 () k 10 /solve/patch () combination-r6 () omega 3000 /solve/patch () isovalue-r1 () x-velocity y -10 /solve/patch () isovalue-r3 () y-velocity y -20 /solve/patch () isovalue-r4 () y-velocity y 20 /solve/patch () isovalue-r5 () x-velocity y 20

I forgot this forum strips CRLFs unless they occur in pairs. Try reading the version below.

/adapt/mark-boundary-cells (inlet) 40

/adapt/mark-boundary-cells (otherwall) 40

/adapt/mark-boundary-cells (outlet) 40

/adapt/mark-boundary-cells (symmetricl) 40

/adapt/mark-boundary-cells (symmetricr) 40

/adapt/mark-boundary-cells (target) 40

/adapt/combine-registers 0 1 2 3 4 5 ()

/solve/patch () combination-r6 () pressure 20

/solve/patch () combination-r6 () k 10

/solve/patch () combination-r6 () omega 3000

/solve/patch () isovalue-r1 () x-velocity y -10

/solve/patch () isovalue-r3 () y-velocity y -20

/solve/patch () isovalue-r4 () y-velocity y 20

/solve/patch () isovalue-r5 () x-velocity y 20
