export file from CATIA to I-DEAS to FLUENT -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Pedro Clode Guest Posts: n/a	Hi everybody! I have a 3d .igs file and I want to opent it, do the mesh and the export to FLUENT. 1º way: I imported the iges file on I-DEAS and showed an import warning with 8 errors (unreadble geometry).So the file opens with errors. 2º: I open the iges file on catia.Then I saved with catia extension.Then on I-DEAS I imported the file and it shows: "CATIA Model must be specified" So the idea is: open in catia, export to I-DEAS (do the mesh) and export to FLUENT I would appreciate if anybody would help Thanks
