Default depths in a two phase free surface flows

Hi, i'm a university student doing my research project. I am using Gambit and Fluent to model a swash motion or wave motion of a wave breaking onto a beach. The simulation is working well but i've experienced problems identifying the depths of the fluid level in a two phase set up with air and water, using a VOF system.

Any help would be very much appreciated as i am some what stuck at the momen.

Thanks Scott
