Default variable label

Hi, I would like to know how to identify the identifier of some transported variables inside my flow. If I know the name in Scheme of a given variable ("sgs-kinetic-energy" for example), is there a way, from an UDF, to know its identifying numerical label (that is, the i used to identify this variable in F_PROFILE(f,t,i) ) ?

I would also like to know, should I manage to get this label for a given variable, will it then be the same that identify this variable every time in my session, and across session, and even across cases ?

Thanks,

J.D.
