Default wall and symmetry boundary conditions

hi all,

i am trying a model a wing protuding from a wall with two different boundary conditions on that wall, i.e. symmetry and wall and to my surprise i get the same value for lift and drag on the wing. any comments or help.

Hi

Is your mesh fine enough near the wing in order to pick up the effect of the wall?
