UDF for data of specified node

Hi all,

I am trying to get displacement of specified node correspond to time inside fluid domain (not at boundary condition).Anybody have idea for writing this UDF, please help me.

Hi,
I think data over points are not contained after simulation. for your purpose, it's easier to separate near cells to obtain their thread ID and then average them.

I made a mistake for my question. I need to get velocity-time dependent of specified node in fluid domain. Is there the same way like your guide? Can you tell more detail than this one?

Hi,
if your node is stationary, it doesn't need any UDF for your purpose; otherwise, it's better to choose nearest cell or nearest cells and separate them from domain; consequently, you would have different thread ID to identify the cells which you can refer to them in the UDF.
