Hi,
I'm quite new to fluent and now trying to understand heat transfer modeling. My current setup is the following: - 2 separate blocks of solids of different materials (aluminium and copper) - the wall between them is a two sided-wall - Energy equation is enabled, the simulation is transient - i tried all options: wall boundary conditions interior, coupled and wall with heat transfer -solution initialized to 300K, one block patched to 400K the problem is that both blocks keep their initial temperature even after a lot of time has passsed in the simulation. what do I have to change in my setup Thanks for your help |

You may use a common face for the two blocks with the coupled option.
The common wall will be divided in two under Fluent (wall and shadow-wall)... |
