Hello guys,
I need help with this problem: I am designing solar collector for vacuum heat tube from metal foam, and I have two designs of manifolders. First has simple flow canal, second has curvature flow canal. Curvature should have influence to turbulence and vortexes. But is it really necessary make so "aerodynamic shape" of flow canal at low speed of flow? Fluid flow is only 2 litres per minute. Simulation of turbulence kinetic energy is in this picture (2D, right side). Is it big difference in value of TKE? 1. http://lzzz.sk/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/h_te_1.jpg 2. http://lzzz.sk/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/o_te.png Thanks |
