You might take a look at CAELinux 2011 . It is a complete linux distribution based on Ubuntu 10.04. It is 64 bit only.
It includes a large number of advanced scientific and mathematical applications. Elmer Finite Elements is included and has a Boundary Element Method Poisson solver. OpenFoam may do it as well. JavaFoil is also included, which does NACA airfoils. Code Aster is included, which likely does Poisson. Salome Meca is included and does meshing and cad import. It is not source code, but a complete, already compiled Linux distribution. You download the ISO image, then burn to DVD and install. It is Open Source. See CAELinux.com. Compiling advanced scientific software from source is very difficult. |
