Hi sumit...computational fluid mechanics (cfd) is an essential course for thermal and fluid engg. (Across all major iits, dept. of mechanical engg.)...but i have not heard of a specialised degree in computational mechanics...but the nehru centre for advance studies might offer what you need...plz check it out

There is no particular specialization of cfd in Mtech but you can do your project on cfd

Thank You Virendra.
There are MTech courses offered by IIT Guwahati and IIT Mumbai on Computational Mechanics. You can check the link http://www.iitg.ac.in/mech/mtech_cm.php I went through the Nehru centre of Advanced Studies. But I could not find any relevant course pertaining to my interest. But I look forward to some more option that I can have on the same course. Thanks and regards, Sumit

Thank you Mehul for the link.
I don't know much about the UPES institute. Can you tell more from your experience here. Thanks and regards,

Hello Rahul,
I did not ask for any specialized MTech course on CFD. But computational Mechanics. It involves both Structural Mechanics and CFD. So I will very happy if I can get any suggestions. Thanks and regards,
