Default Sofware for spray simulation

Hallo all experts,

I'm facing a project about simulating spray and consequent collision on solid substrate. I only have experience with the microfluid solver from CoventorWare, and heard about that ANSYS also offer certain package for CFD. Could anyone of you give some hints on this simulation, so that I could correctly start with? Except Navier-Stokes equations, is there any other sophisticated theory on this issue? Is there any open project on this topic?

Thanks a lot in advance,

Joe
