Default Air-Water VOF Depressurizing Bottle Validation
Posts: n/a
Hi All,

I am looking for some existing validation work that has been done for Air-Water VOF simulations.

The specific problem I am interested in is an axi-symmetric tank....very much like an upside down 2litre pop bottle depresurizing. A cylindrical tank draining due to gravity would be useful too.

If you know of any good experiments or CFD validation work which would be of use....please let me know.

Thanks in advance...............Bak_Flow

You might take a look at the flow-3d home page. There are links (or pdf's) to an immense number of applications. I didn't try to sort through. Try here:

Good luck!
