Default Resolution of a 2-equ. turbulence model

Hi there,

I am currently writing a compressible Navier-Stokes code, essentially to solve turbomachinery problem. A FVM coupled with a Lax-wendroff scheme is used, so that this is an explicit scheme. I would like to incorporate the K-w model into the code. Meanwhile, I heard that it should be preferable, to solve the K-w equations (or any kind of turbulent transport equations), to use an implicit method..

Do you have any advice on that ?

Thanks,

André.
