nandhubemech is on a distinguished road
This is Nandakumar,
Could any one suggest methodology and software for simulation of Once through counter flow steam generator heated by hot liquid sodium at low pressure on shell side, heating sub-cooled water into super heated high pressure steam on vertical tubes. Two phase flow is also encountered in this water side flow.
Earlier we have used 1D code for both sodium and water side, with heat transfer and pressure drop correlations for different boiling zones. Now we would like to simulate in 3D to find the temperature and flow mal-distribution radially, circumferential and axially. The SG is having 30m long 475 tubes each 12mm ID in 30mm triangular pitch.

Regards,
Nandakumar
