Heya,
I've just checked the link and it's OK - it had been wrong but I have fixed it about 2 days ago. If you're having trouble with it again, please let me know by E-mail. FOAM is used for lots of LES, so efficiency, parallelism, accuracy on coarse meshes and related issues are very important and have all been fixed. You should not see any overhead compared to functional approach (the most we could measure was 3-4%, but that is counterbalanced by better clean-up of unnecessary data, decent solvers and good numerics and similar). Have a look at FOAM-related LES - there should be some performance numbers there. Enjoy, Hrv |
