Can anybody recommend a simple CFD code which can be used for teaching basic CFD?
The features should cover laminar and turbulent flow (k-eps sufficient), stationary and transient problems and if possible heat transfer as well. The code should include a GUI to enter ic's, bc's, material properties and parameters for the numerical schemes. A postprocessor to plot velocity vectors, isolines etc. and to extract mass flow data, forces etc. should also be available. Source code is not necessary, an executable for WinXP will do. The code is intended for teaching only, not for real "production". Best regards Chris |
