Hello all,

I installed OF-1.5 and compiled everything.
Here is my prob:

I wanted to try the cavity-test like the manual of OF-1.5.
When paraView has started nothing is shown in the display window still i push my left mouse button. when i press it the figure would displayed for max 1 second. what is the reason? how could i correct it that i see the figure in the display-window all the time?

regards

Michel

Hi Michel, are you using Ubuntu Intrepid? I had the same problem. Set your visual effects to "none" in the appearance preference. It is some graphical display issue.

No problem. And if you ever consider recompiling paraView, make sure you get the older version of Qt( which I was never able to find).

Hi, im having a problem like holzmichel. After starting paraFoam and clicking the Apply-button, the model doesnt appear (tested this for different tutorials). In the Information-tab is shows that the is imported (for icoFoam/cavity: unstructured grid, 400 cells 882 points). Using foamToVTK works, so i think its a Problem in displaying the Foam files!?
Also turned visual effucts in appearance off.

Im using Ubuntu 9.04, actual OpenFoam-1.5-dev and running ParaView-3.4.0 with Qt-4.3.5. On Ubuntu 8.10 everything worked fine with the same config.

Anyone suggestions?
