Anybody try GCC 420 on OpenFOAM yet

Default Has anybody tried using GCC 4.

Has anybody tried using GCC 4.2.0 to compile OpenFOAM yet?

I will probably try it next weekend or the following weekend. If I can get a few good bench mark results, I'll post them.

Default We didn't find any difference.

We didn't find any difference. You could try compiling with -ffast-math but that loses the floating-point overflow trapping (FOAM_SIGFPE).
