Dear colleagues,

I am happy to inform you that cfMesh-v1.1 is available for download. The important new features are:
1. Boundary layer optimisation.
2. Anisotropic meshing.
3. Workflow controls - allows users to stop and restart the meshing process.
3. Polyhedral meshing

Creative Fields presents the new stable release of cfMesh 1.1.1, which is now available at this link on Sourceforge.
The new release includes the following enhancements:
Bug fixes:
  • - Crash: 2D Cartesian mesher. Improved calculation edge-faces addressing for surface meshes.
  • - Crash: 3D polyhedral mesher. Improved edge-faces addressing for volume meshes.
  • - Crash: edge-mesh refinement – crashes occur in the edgeMesh library of foam-extend-3.1. The installation packed uses OpenFOAM-2.3.0 now.
  • - Edge-mesh refinement is not sensitive to the orientation of edges any more.
Minor enhancements:
  • - Cleanup of compilation warnings and problems on Mac OS using Clang. We thank Alexey Mesensev and Bernhard Gschaider for their help.
If you have any questions regarding cfMesh, feel free to contact us via email or private messages. You can also post questions in our new FB group.
