what does sigma mean

I' m new in OpenFOAM 2.10. Recently I finished the case "floatingObject" with the solver interDyMFoam.
what does sigma mean in the file transportProperties? I use kEpsilon model, and the case use default paramaters. at the same time， if i want to choose stardard kEpsilon model， how to assign related paramaters. Thank your for help. Last edited by T.Matrix; October 14, 2012 at 11:47. |

the sigma is the stefan-boltzman constant.
it is declared in /opt/openfoam211/src/OPENFOAM/global/constants/physicoChemical you can look for it. ethanuaa |

the bolzmann Constant has to be corrected by surfaceTension/bolztmannConstant...
