hello
I am newbie in openfoam I saw some posts on the subject, at first I was scared. Could someone show me how to implement the parabolic velocity profile to the input of my tube (2D)? What do I do? Thanks for attention and sorry for posting this topic again. If I can implement, I will make a pdf manual for beginners to share here. Thank you for your attention. I use OpenFOAM 2.3.0 |

Using groovyBC you can do that, check out the example on "pulsedPitzDaily".
Refer: http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Co...ulsedPitzDaily Also, you can refer to the chalmer's document. By following the instruction in the document you can use the patch "parabolicVelocity". I don't know much about OF 2.3.0 version, whether this BC is available in the same. If not you can install the BC using the instructions mentioned in the document. Refer: http://www.tfd.chalmers.se/~hani/kur...yCondition.pdf http://www.tfd.chalmers.se/~hani/kur...yCondition.pdf -- Best Luck! |
