gaehlerm is on a distinguished road
Hi

I'm doing microfluidics and wanted to ask, where I can set the default length unit to micrometer.

I create the mesh with Salome and use ideasUnvToFoam for creating the polymesh folder. Of course I could set the size of the object to 0.00001m in Salome, but then I would have to increase the writePrecision in the controlDict as 6 relevant digits wouldn't be enough anymore. And it's also more intuitive, to work with micrometer/second than m/s. Is this nevertheless the way to go, or is there a neat solution?
