How can I add something like the attached equation to my solver
I have problem with writing this as an openfoam code

As I wrote on the other thread - http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...tml#post453937 - here is a list of pages that can help you get oriented in how OpenFOAM works for adding new equations:

• This is a great tutorial that explains how scalarTransportFoam works: http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/ScalarTransportFoam
  • You'll find that the description given there are very similar to these: http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Ho...ure_to_icoFoam - this is basically because the temperature added to icoFoam is using the scalar transport algorithm!
• The other two basic solvers are explained here:

  • http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/PotentialFoam
• The source code for all of the basic solvers can be found by running these two commands:
  

  echo $FOAM_SOLVERS/basic
  ls -l $FOAM_SOLVERS/basic

• Beyond this, I suggest that you have a look into the source code of other solvers as well, to get some more ideas.
