Hello all,
I'm trying to simulate surface tension dominating flow (water-air) and the dimension is about 10 micrometer. The stock interFoam is OK, but the time step is extremely small, making 3D simulation impossible. I did some research in this forum, and found 2 code repositories to deal with spurious current. 1. poreFoam https://github.com/ImperialCollegeLondon/porefoam This repo focuses on porous media and I couldn't find a way to simulate regular multiphase flow. I can't understand foam-extend language, it's very different from modern OpenFOAM, and I failed to port it to OF-v2312. 2. interFoamSSF https://github.com/aliozel/interFoamSSF/tree/master I spent quite a lot time to port this solver to OF-v2312, and found it's worse than stock interFoam. Is there more public repo that focuses on regular multiphase flow? Thanks. |
