Hi All,

Where in the source code for actuationDiskSource is the diskArea () used to select cells within a circle?

Even when topoSetDict is set to select cells within a bounding box, the resultant area is still circular.

Many thanks in advance,

Tom Waits

Hi Tom,

The diskArea is an input for calculating the Thrust force, it is not used to select the cells or to define a region.

The cell selection is defined in topoSetDict, but the area normal to the velocity will depend on your mesh, it will not necessarily be the same value as the diskArea.

Best Regards,
Luis
