Flow and heat transfer in porous media

is there a simple method to model flow and heat transfer in a porous media where the fluid and solid phase are not in local thermal equilibrium (T_fluid and T_solid are not equal)? Ideally it should be possible to have a nonuniform porosity.
I tried to use the chtMultiRegionFoam solver together with the constantHeatTransfer and the interRegionExplicitPorositySource option in the fvOptions file but this was not possible when using a fluid and solid region.
Thanks for your help.
