Dear all,

I'm doing a mesh study for a simple CFD case (low Re, incompressible, laminar, steady-state) using simpleFoam solver. I'm studying the results for 5 different grids. For the coarse meshes the solution converges quick enough, but for the rest of them, it just keeps oscillating around 1e-4.
First I would ask if there is any possibility to use results of coarser mesh as an initial value for the finer mesh. Since the numbers of elements are different there should be an extra process for this purpose, I suppose.
And finally, any other tricks for forcing simpleFoam to get converged for the aforementioned case would be appreciated.

You can use the mapFields utility I think.
