Initialization using PotentialFoam

Hi guys!
Usually it is recommended to initialize U and P using PotentialFoam, Is this recommended for flows involving multiple inlets inside domain? I observed that while I initialized this kind of problem with PotentialFoam, the forces just shoot with the very first iteration and then comedown. Can this effect the solution accuracy at the end, because of large initial forces. Not using PotentialFoam does give regular startup. Any comments to clarify! Thanks Mehar
