Dear Sir,
I am going to start to cope with the calculation of the heat exchanger including phase change. More specifically, for a vaporiser of double tube type heat exchanger, I want to calculate the vaporisation of the liquid flowing through the inner tube caused by the heat transfer from warm water flowing through the outer tube. Could you tell me what is the adequate solver and tutorials for the calculation of "heat exchanger", "heat-transfer-driven vaporisation"? I have used solvers for gas phase not including energy equation, and have never used such a liquid, heat transfer solver. I would appreciate if you give some advise. Sincerely, KeiJun |

Hi, maybe you could try reactingEulerFoam, there is a tutorial for an evaporator column. I'm not too familiar with heat exchangers, so that's the best I know.
