Hello
I am trying to figure out the entries in thermophysicalproperties If i look at rhoCentralFoam/forwardStep/constant/thermophysicalproperties I find mixture normalisedGas 1 11640.3 2.5 0.0 0.0 1.0; 11640.3gm/mol, seems to be molecular wt of the gas If i assume universal gas constant =8.314, and gamma = 1.4. I can get Cp to be 2.5. and specific gas constant to be .71424 This is consistent with a speed of sound = 1 And all seems well If i look in rhoCentralFoam/shockTube/thermophysicalproperties i find the line mixture air 1 28.96 1004.5 2.544e+06 0.0 1.0; Now, 28.96gm/mol is mol. wt of air 1004.5 = Cp of air, assuming gamma =1.4 But what is 2.544e+06? Could someone please shed some light on this? Thanks Srinath |
