I am contemplating the use of wiki as a form of corporate knowledge base. However, I feel that there is a need for avoiding the spread of rumours and false or out-dated information.

Are there any standard feature in wiki software that allows for custom tags to be applied to entries, like:

"Content out-dated" (without the need to actually write a revised entry just then)

"Information attested by management" (which only certain users would be able to apply)

In the latter case, it would be good if the browsing user was presented with the option of viewing the "latest" or the "latest attested" version of the entry.

What wiki software would I choose in order to easily arrange for this?

Our GURUs i guess from time to to time should review our work and make their conclusions....

checking expressions and etc...

QUALITY should be above all other things...

BUT.

Because we have just started, they have not anything to look through....
