Hello everyone.

I have been running simulations of a disc ( basically a piston) moving through a quiescent channel. The geometry of the disc is a bit complex and the experimental of the data is a bit sparse.

Thus far I have been using I have been using overset grids with overPimpleFoam.

So I have been looking for any reference studies, experimental or DNS, of a simple object (say: sphere, disk or cylinder) in order to test different configurations.

While I am still looking, I thought I would ask if anyone here was familiar with any particular reference I could use.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers
