Dear all,
I have to perform the simulation of the wind over the terrain of a certain area. I start from a DTED map. I would like to know which are the steps I have to do in order to get some good results. 1. how can I get an OpenFOAM-compatible mesh, from a DTED? 2. which is the best turbulence model in OpenFOAM to perform a wind simulation? 3. how can I build a suitable domain "around" the DTED map I download? Thanks a lot, Samuele |
